The Dadar Studio
This 600 sq. ft. 1BHK apartment gut renovation was an exercise in space optimization. The design revolves around custom, transformable furniture, including a Murphy bed that reveals a full-sized work desk and a collapsible dining island in the kitchen. We used a light, airy palette with strategic pops of color and clever lighting to make the space feel larger. The primary challenge was the building’s old plumbing and wiring; we had to meticulously re-route all services within the compact ceiling and wall cavities to achieve a clean, modern finish.
