The Lake Pichola Homestay
This project involved the interior design and spatial planning for a heritage property to function as a charming bed-and-breakfast. The design brief was to create an authentic “Udaipur experience” by blending traditional Rajasthani decor with modern comforts. We restored original arches and niches, using local handicrafts, block-printed textiles, and terrazzo flooring. The main challenge was to discreetly add en-suite bathrooms to each room without altering the original structure, which we achieved by designing compact, prefabricated bathroom pods.
